Surfers Circle

Update on Sunday’s surfer circle: There looks like there’s going to be a big swell running, so we’ll need to be flexible with the event, to keep it safe. Please be in the bay by 10.30, and down at South Point Carpark by 11.00. There’ll be a briefing at the head of the stairs at 11.15, and a short commemoration, followed by entry to the water at 11.30. Hopefully we’ll be able to form the circle by 12.00, but the condition of the bay will be our mistress! There is a small possibility that the bay will be too big for a circle in which case we’ll do it on the oval, in wetsuits with boards…

After the circle, there’ll be a soup-pot and sausage sizzle, with some live music until about 14.30.
